Terms of Service.

These terms cover your use of the Texas Food Vendors Association platform at app.txfva.com — membership, the TXFVA app, its Calendar, the directory, and verification. By applying for membership or creating an account, you agree to them.

Membership and verification

TXFVA membership status, your public TXFVA ID, and your directory listing reflect the information you and your business provide. Verification confirms the standing we have on record — it is not a government license or permit, and it does not replace any permit, license, insurance, or certification your business is legally required to hold. You're responsible for keeping your own permits and licenses current with the relevant Texas state and local authorities.

Your account and documents

You're responsible for the accuracy of the documents and information you add to the app, and for keeping your login credentials secure. Documents you store in the app are yours — we don't use them for anything beyond the reminders, sends, and verification features you use them for, as described in our Privacy Policy.

Text messages

TXFVA Alerts are text messages from the Texas Food Vendors Association to members and staff who agree to get them: document expiration alerts, staff invites and join codes, shift and show requests, and membership notices. Members agree by turning on text alerts in the TXFVA app or on txfva.com. A staffer agrees by telling the member who invites them that they want the invite by text.

• Message frequency varies with your documents, events and staff.
• Message and data rates may apply.
• Reply STOP to any TXFVA text to cancel. You'll get one reply confirming it, then no more texts.
• Reply HELP for help, or email txfva@txfoodvendors.com or call 972-477-3710.
• Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

Dues and payment

Membership dues are billed annually through PayPal at the rate for your membership tier at the time you join or renew. Rates locked in during a founding enrollment period apply for the term stated at signup. We don't store your payment credentials — PayPal processes payment directly.

Acceptable use

• Don't submit false or misleading information on an application, profile, or verification record.
• Don't use the directory, scheduler, or app to harass, spam, or misrepresent another operator, staffer, or business.
• Don't attempt to access another member's account or documents without authorization.

We can suspend or revoke membership, verification, or account access for a violation of these terms or for information we determine to be false.

No warranty

The platform is provided as-is. We work to keep permit-expiration reminders, sends, and verification records accurate and timely, but you're responsible for your own compliance with permit and licensing requirements — TXFVA's tracking and reminders are a convenience, not a substitute for your own recordkeeping.

Changes

We may update these terms as the platform changes. Material changes will be reflected here with an updated date.
