How it works

The cards, the permits, the proof. In one packet.

A pool runs on paper with dates on it: the lifeguards' cards, the operator's certificate, the permit on the wall, the insurance certificate the city asks for. PoolPacket holds every one of them for every pool you run, watches the dates, and hands the proof to whoever asks.

Pools

One list of your pools

Each pool, spa and splash pad you run, with its own permit and its own staff. Add a photo of a card and the date is read off it.

Staff

Lifeguards join by code

Send a lifeguard a code; they join from their phone, in English or Spanish, and keep their own lifeguard, CPR/AED and first aid cards current. You see every card and every date.

Shifts

No shift on an expired card

Put a shift on the calendar, ask who can work it, and put people on. A guard whose card runs out before the shift is stopped before they are on it.

Alerts

60, 30 and 7 days ahead

Before any card, permit or certificate lapses, the alert names the pool, the person and the paper.

Proof

The packet, sent

The health inspector, the city, the HOA board or the insurer asks: send the packet from your phone. They open it from a link, one PDF with every paper, no account needed, and you see when they opened it.

Standing

A PoolPacket ID

Your operator ID and standing, confirmable in seconds: active or not, and whether every required paper is on file and current.

The papers · in the PoolPacket app

Every card and permit, watched by its date.

  • Lifeguard certification, each guard
  • CPR/AED certification, each guard
  • First aid certification, each guard
  • Certified Pool Operator (CPO / AFO)
  • The health department's pool permit, each pool
  • The insurance certificate

The list follows the rules where your pools are. In Texas: 25 TAC §265.191 (lifeguard certification on record, training kept current, AED and first aid kit on site) and §265.194 (a trained and certified operator for every Class A, B and C pool and spa); the operating permit is your city's or county's. Florida, Arizona and Puerto Rico follow.
